We were learning about marine animals, so we went on a trip to Kasai Sea Life Aquarium to wrap up our studies. The day before our tabiiku, Whale class students researched how to get to the Kasai Sea Life Park Station from Kanda Station. Everybody walked very nicely even though it was such a hot day.
Upon entering the aquarium, some children said, “It’s scary!!” because the inside was a bit dark. But once they saw the fish swimming around, they ran to the glass tanks to watch them. We saw marine creatures like sharks, penguins, and turtles. They loved watching the jellyfish. We heard some of them say “おいしそう〜” (It looks delicious) while they watched the fish!?!? They all said that they want to visit the aquarium again soon.
