We also went on a tabiiku last week — they walked a lot that day! They really enjoyed riding in the Green Car (on the Chuo line).
We looked at the hanging Hina dolls inside a big hotel.
Then we walked to Shinjuku Chuo Park to enjoy the playground equipment: the older students ran straight for the big “climbing structure”, and the younger students went to the soft white “mountain” for jumping and sliding;
everyone also enjoyed playing on the big “whale”. We had a great time eating our picnic lunch at the park. Although the table was too high for our students, they ate very nicely (some students gave food to pigeons …).
On the way back to school from Shinjuku station, we were lucky to get seats in the Green Car again. The warm weather helped us all have a really great time!
