Last week our students began preparing for our December special event… Christmas! They have started talking about what presents they want or have already asked for from Santa. Of course we began making a fireplace (because it’s very important to have one for Santa so that he can deliver presents). We each made bricks for the fireplace. Then each student made their own Christmas stocking, and we all also made Christmas decorations.

The air has been getting colder, but we could go to the park almost everyday this week. Even though we are preparing for Christmas, at the park we could still see full “fall” scenery. We ran through falling gingko leaves, catching them as they fell like snowflakes. Then we found a big pile of leaves. The children could almost “swim” in that mountain of leaves. We enjoyed the beauty and joys of the fall season this week.
