last week’s big event was Halloween! We fixed our haunted house that we built ourselves, finished our trick-or-treat bags, decided our Halloween costumes, and some of us made our own costumes.
We also practiced saying “Trick or treat, give me something good to eat!”
We carved our two pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns. Whale class students decided on one of the pumpkin’s faces… it has only one eye. Then we scooped out the seeds from the inside and lit it up from the inside. It became a scary Jack o’ lantern!
Then on Friday, we went trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, it started raining in the afternoon so we could not go outside. So we instead went to our parent company’s offices and our gym to get treats. All the children could say “Trick or treat!” in a loud voice, and when they got a candy treat, they said “Thank you!”
