Kanda matsuri was held last week end. we went to the old junior high school to see a real mikoshi that was used for Kanda matsuri. Because one of our students had seen that mikoshi two years ago when he was just three years old, he said “なつかしい〜” when he saw it. All the students examined the mikoshi and “hiki-daiko” very carefully. They were so amazed to see the shiny gold mikoshi! The people who were preparing the Kanda Matsuri had invited us to see real mikoshi and let us hit the huge taiko!
