Father’s Day was last Sunday so everyone was very busy making a present for their dad last week.

Penguin class students made a tie using paint to make their card. Starfish class students made key chains by threading beads and applying small stickers.

Seal class students each made an “omamori” (“lucky charm”) for their dad by threading felt.

Whale class students made a smartphone stand and special printing “hanga” (“wood block for printing”).

We’d love to share the cute, funny letters the Whale class students wrote to their dads: One student wrote: “I love my dad because he makes me feel excited. He always says ‘Go to school!’ He is cool.” and the other student wrote: “I love my dad because he makes me feel good. He always says ‘Brush your teeth!’ He is cool!”
